Big thank you to Geoff, his parents and my parents for sending me off in style with a wonderful dinner on Sunday night. Thanks to all my fantastic friends who came too.
So I am leaving Thursday on a multi-destination adventure, which I will summarize in point form for your convenience:
1) Mpigi, Uganda (June 14) - Missions here for 2 weeks - hanging out with kids, visiting high schools, running a medical clinic, and many more adventures.
2) Canary Islands, Spain - To celebrate Crista's birthday, Crista, Cheryl and I are spending a week in Tenerife to relax.
3) London, England - Meeting Geoff here for a to start our tour.
4) Rome, Italy - The Forum, the Colosseum, St. Peter's, Vatican City, the Pantheon, etc. basically walking around in history (or, knowing Geoff, renting scooters and scootering around in history)
5) Venice, Italy - This city is phenomenal...there is just nothing else like it.
6) Paris, France - Crepes and baguettes..I think I will like this city.
7) London, England - Back to London to say goodbye to Geoff and hello to my Mom.
8) Sofia, Bulgaria / Istanbul, Turkey / Athens, Greece / anywhere else we want to go in South East Europe.
9) Vilnius, Lithuania - Visiting some friends from Lithuania Christian College.
10) London, England - Sharelle and Brenda arrive to start their trip while I am at the end of mine.
10) Home (August 23) - Back to real life.
10 weeks of travelling....so excited.

oh my goodness! a lavonne blog! i LOVE it! and how did you get your fantastic photo thing? are you a computer-y person? or are you friends with computer-y people? or is it easy? haha. i'm so excited for you going on this fantastic trip! i can't wait to be updated via blog!

But I am a little worried. I hadn't quite finished monkeying with the picture etc. I will get it looking perfect. Just you wait. ANd while I am at, maybe I will add some fake posts.

We are so on top of this! LOL. Look how relaxed we can be. Who would have thought us two planning maniacs could embark on a trip like this? Maybe we are supposed to learn something thorugh this experience?...
